Hello, loyal readers! We here at Stereogum have moved offices, making the grand exodus from a gathering of cubicles near Grand Central Station to a gathering of cubicles near Times Square. Along with the rest of our colleagues at our daddy company Valence Media, we are adjusting to the new space. Being in the heart of Times Square is invigorating. It is, after all, the heart of New York City, in that blood runs through the streets, there are a lot of billboards, and there are no good places to eat lunch.

As respected music journalists, we get a ton of stuff for free and we are very grateful. (Please send us all the free things.) But it's rare that we receive something as exciting as free ice cream. So when a Ben & Jerry's representative emailed me a couple weeks ago asking if I would like to try their mysterious new music-related flavor my only reply was: "Hell yes!" (Actually, it was "Hey -- yeah, we're interested." I tried to play it cool.)

Fifteen minutes before its planned 11AM opening time, there were 16 people in line for the Chainsmokers’ NYC pop-up shop. The four-day buying experience, running from June 8 to June 11, promises hoodies, t-shirts, an appearance -- at some point -- from Alex Pall and Drew Taggart, and 100 one-of-a-kind denim jackets, designed by Lauren Kessler, Design Director for the Chainsmokers (sure), and scribbled on by the Chainsmokers themselves.
